Third display won't work?

I'm not exactly sure what components I need to describe to get the best answer, but I have 2 ASUS 24" 1080p monitors each plugged in with DVI cables and I wanted to use a third display (smaller and cheaper dell monitor) just to display music playing on a browser.

The two DVI monitors work fine, but when I plug in the hdmi to the third, it shuts one of the other monitors off, allowing me only to use 2 of the 3.

Does is have to do with the graphics card, I have a GTX 770 that supplies me with 2 DVI ports, 1 HDMI, and 1 Display Port.

Is there a viable configuration? Sorry, I'm not an expert in this topic.
