PCE-N15 Adapter Problems

I have an HTPC with an ASUS PCE-N15 wireless adapter, and it's extremely slow. It constantly loses connection and its peak download speeds couldn't be more than 0.5Mb/s. Adjusting the antennae after losing connection will allow access to the internet for a short period of time, but it's a huge hassle.

I've tried:

- Downloading multiple drivers as well as the ASUS utility (can't remember which versions)

- Attempting to disable ZoneAlarm (doesn't appear in the services list)

I've heard that people have gotten it to work reasonably well, and have even tried using my phone, laptop, etc. in the same location and get full bars. What else is there to do?

Seems like this is worth a try.

I think I've tried that a while ago, but I'll give it another shot.

Apperently this should also work. Ahh, Asus when will you learn to make better drivers.

The other driver seemed to increase download speeds marginally. So far it hasn't dropped its connection either. I'll try this now.

Tried the driver from the Realtek site and it works the best of all of them, but download speeds are still only peaking at 0.6-0.7Mb/s.
