Hey guys,

So I turned on my computer a few days ago and I got a blue screen saying that my PC needs to be repaired with error code 0xc000000e. I looked up on google and it said that I need my windows cd to get it back up and running. The problem is, I downloaded windows via a flashdrive with the ISO. I plugged in the same flashdrive I used to boot up windows to my pc the first time I got, turned it on, and I keep on getting the blue screen. It gives me the option to try again or go to startup settings, but when i do that, the screen flickers. Is there I way I can manually get to my Startup Settings and fix this?

Method 1:

Unplug all the external devices and try booting and check.

Method 2:

Check if you are able to boot in safe mode or not:

If yes,I suggest you to put the computer inclean boot state and check.

To help troubleshoot error messages and other issues, you can start Windows Vista by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This kind of startup is known as a "clean boot." A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Refer the link below for more details:

Note:

After you have finished troubleshooting, follow these steps in the above article to reset the computer to start as usual.

If not,try perfomring astartup repair and check:

Method 3:

If not, I suggest you toRebuild the BCD store manually by using the Bcdedit.exe tool.

Refer step 3 to do the same in the below article:

So this is a quick solution to your problem.  I personaly would suggest just doing a clean instal of Windows.

Please spend as much time writing your question, as you want me to spend responding to it.  Take some time, and explain your issue, please!
