I picked up a NHD14 with only the center fan on ebay for a mere £15 (or something around $10). This is the cooling performance on an AMD FX-6300. Prime 95 was stopped at the highlighted point. (also I'm running stuff in the background so that is the reason for the zigzagging near the end.

 

Message to you all, find a cooler on ebay for next to nothing .

But there's no way those temps can be true. FX generally lies about temps and this doesn't seem to be an exception. It's probably at least 10 degrees warmer than reported.

Well it says the temps right there, just because some run hot doesn't mean all do

I was thinking that, My room is around 19C so yeh

Yes, you're right, but the FX chips don't particularly have a temperature sensor, they have a way of crudely approximating temps.
