Amd GPU Update driver question?

I recently looked into my amd catalyst software and it told me about a new update for my GPU driver...do I need to uninstall my driver before installing the new one or will the new one override the old one?

Override, just click to update.

just click update. No need to do anything else.

Yeah just download the newest version from AMD's website. That's what i Always do.

It overrides the current CCC on your computer and updates it with the newer version.

It is save to overwirte it, but you want take extra step then uninstall and install fresh driver.

DDU is only really useful when installing/uninstalling then something screws up the process corrupting it.

In most case DDU is not needed as AMD stated that it may cause more harm then good.

I did DDU before installing the new driver

 

Everything seems to work fine so far after installing new driver
