Alienware 13 Laptop

Shhuks

I'm thinking about buying a Alienware 13. I was just wondering if it's worth the extra money to go from i5-5200u to i7 5500u. they're both dual core processors. I'm going to get the 3200x1800 touch display. Anyone have real experience with these processors?

It's what $1100 with the i7? If so you could get a much better laptop for the price range.

It's a $150 difference between i5 and i7

Graphics = the same, and the only real difference is the cache size and frequency.  i7 has the larger cache and higher frequency.  Almost everything else is the same.  Basically, for a 100 buck difference[if there is with the laptop too] I'd go with the i5 because paying 100 bucks more for something that isn't that different is kinda stupid imo.

Yeah this is what I was thinking.. the main difference is the cache which isn't worth $150
