dual monitors?

Go to solution Solved by wolfplayer,

Mixing and matching frequency and resolution are rough.  You seem set on at least 1 4K so Id just get a set of them considering your system will run them ok.  Plus those are two different sized monitors.

here are a couple ideas I have for my new dual monitor set-up:

I'm not sure on which one to do so I would like your guys opinion and if you have used 144hz and 60hz does 144hz make that much of a difference because I am currently upgrading from two 1080p monitors and my pc can run the games I currently play at 4k.

the monitors i am thinking of are:

4k,60hz,1ms: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-monitor-pb287q

1440p,144hz,1ms: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-monitor-mg279q

idea #1:

have one casual gaming/ main work monitor at 4k,60hz and one for mainly gaming competitively at 1440p 144hz.

idea #2:

or would it be better to go for two 4k monitors and use one just for gaming as does the 144hz make that much of a difference?
