Hi so I'm wanting to get some new case fans to replace the stock cooler master ones and am trying to decide between the Noctua F12 and the Arctic F12. Is there much of a difference that's noticeable and would they both out perform the stock ones?

You can use any fan for any application, but the NFF12 is generally used as a radiator fan. I wouldn't use them as exhaust fans.

Case: Corsair 4000D Airflow; Motherboard: MSI ZZ490 Gaming Edge; CPU: i7 10700K @ 5.1GHz; Cooler: Noctua NHD15S Chromax; RAM: Corsair LPX DDR4 32GB 3200MHz; Graphics Card: Asus RTX 3080 TUF; Power: EVGA SuperNova 750G2; Storage: 2 x Seagate Barracuda 1TB; Crucial M500 240GB & MX100 512GB; Keyboard: Logitech G710+; Mouse: Logitech G502; Headphones / Amp: HiFiMan Sundara Mayflower Objective 2; Monitor: Asus VG27AQ

The F series are designed for static pressure, so for use with radiators and maybe heatsinks, not as ventilation. For that if you want to go Noctua, I'd go with the S12a or the P12. But I don't think the difference is large. For this I think it all comes down to noise, and unless every other part of your PC is quieter you're not really going to be able to tell a difference.

I also think Noctuas are a bit overrated... The Noctua fanboyism is too damned high around these parts. Show me some good benchmarks and tests and I will change my mind, but I've looked in many places: Noctua is not the god of fans. Lots of members on LTT who've never touched a dB meter in their life doesn't count in the vote. Most of the good tests are for radiator fans and of those for example, Gentle Typhoons are superior to Noctua fans.

If you grab any airflow optimized fan (less angled fan blades, larger spacing between blades) for like $10 from any reputable company it'll probably be nearly the same.
