Ok, so two things, first is the main problem... on FAH control on the rig itself it is constantly connecting and refuses to find the local client... how do I fix this?

Ended up having to reinstall because it died completely

So the thing  I really want to do here now I fixed that is set up remote connection in FAH Control so I dont have to have my second monitor hooked up to it all the time.I couldn't  figure out how, anyone able to tell me?

Honestly, I'd just configure Windows remote management so you can access your entire PC (if needed), not only FAH. You can use the Windwos built in tool or a 3rd party application - those are, imo, much better than the FAH built in remote control.

So you have a dedicated folding rig and don't want the monitor connected all the time?

Just install VNC or teamviewer. Do NOT use the built in RDP client in windows to access it. This can corrupt GPU folding. But either of the other ones I mentioned are fine.

I haven't used Chrome Remote Desktop to connect to a F@H PC but I'm currently using Teamviewer to connect to mine through LAN. It works great.
