Can't you just tell your sister to stay on phone data? I doubt it would use a lot for those shit games and it is likely that app done by idiot mobile developers with 0 experience just trying to turn up a quick buck without any regard for data utilization and prioritization.

Here's a more difficult solution to pull off but better in the long run: introduce her to some decent gaming instead

anything below 110 ping is nothing concerning. I can play perfectly fine with and amount ping in that range once it's above that then it starts to become hard to play.

i know!

change password and tell her you forgot it and say the technician comes in 1 week, than at the last day tell her you found the password!

or just do that on friday, and say a technician is coming on monday!

I'm telling you, your Device Prioritization/QoS settings are definitely messed up. Proper QoS settings will give a game like CS:GO high priority.

 

Aside from straight up buying a new router, that's basically your only option.

Hahaha you guys are cute 80kb up 60-200kb down min ping of 120 but if i play before 10:30pm that can easily go over 30K

Still cost me $85 (probably $50 US )

huh? Decimal doesn't determine which one :P

 

kb = Kilobit

KB = Kilobyte

 

8 Kilobits = 1 Kilobyte

 

ISP Internet Speeds are rated in Bits, Kilobits, and Megabits (And Gigabits if you have Google Fibre)

 

Browser/Steam download speeds are measured in KB/MB/GB, etc.

At this point i have no idea and you have scared me and i want to run back into my little hole :) but if i run a speed test and it comes back 0.08 Mbps which one is that? I might edit my first post before anyone else notices

download lol but i do live 15 min from town and have no cell coverage it really depends on what time of the day and if the neighbors are using it also found out if its raining don't even bother just waiting for google loom
