Overclocking i5 2500k

Hi I need help with the bios settings to overclock the above cpu . I do not know which settings I should change in order to test whether or not my cpu will run when I change the speed.

 

CPU: i5 2500k Sandy Bridge 3.3Ghz

Motherboard: Biostar TP67XE

RAM: Kingston HyperX 2x4GB 1866mhz

GPU: EVGA GTX 750 Ti

CPU Cooler: CM Hyper 212 EVO

PSU: 480w

HDD: 500GB Toshiba 7200rpm

But the basics are the same, increase base clock check if stable, increase voltage, etc.

Try to give it a watch, it may seem like a devil canyon specific guide but it's really good. There was also one ivy bridge guide that I never manage to find as well.

Disable:

Limit CPUID Maximum
Power Technology
C1E Support
OverSpeed Protection
Spread Spectrum


Enable:

Internal PLL Overvoltage
Execute Disable Bit
Intel Virtualization Tech

 

i just up the voltage to around 1.4v oc to 4.7-4.9

 

with the evo 212.
