Linux to Windows Printer

As the name suggests I'm trying to connect my Ubuntu Linux to my parents PC for printing. My windows works fine printing to it, but for some reason I can not seem to get ubuntu to make it print. Also when I go to print the status says that it is processing. So any help, walkthrough, or kind words would be awesome. Thank you and I have posted this in networking as well.

Check if you have configured everything correctly and if you have enabled de sharing of the printer and allowed it to print over the internet

Additionally check this link

Hey thanks for responding didn't think anyone was going to. lol Btw I have followed that link and that is how I tried setting it up. When I went to print it would just say processing and windows from what my bro told me later is that windows was trying to processes the print as well, because he needed to print something and he deleted my multiple print jobs. Do I need to download samba on ubuntu? Thought samba was only if ubuntu was the print server?

I believe that the most recent versions of Ubuntu you don't need to download anything you just need to the printers an configure the printer

I think the OS comes with everthing now
