Both boards have only one expansion slot and both are micro ATX

The one from Asus has more happy customers. From my experience, I would go for Asus.

|Intel Core i5-4670K| |Gigabyte Z97P-D3| |Seagate 1TB SSHD| |Fractal Design Define S| |Corsair CS650M| |Asus PB278Q| |Cooler Master CM Storm Devastator Bundle|

Yes i am from India. Cost of boards are almost equal.

Here dealers said both were good and same

so i am confused which will be best

Take the one you like more, both of them are OK.

If you're taking a Haswell Refresh CPU first ask if they've a compatible BIOS version, IDK how old is the stock of MBs in India.

And I still bugging about that Asus MB, is it a region specific model or what? Because it's just a H81M-R without a DVI port

Nvm, looked at CPU compatibility, both are HR/DC compatible out of the box, though the asus one looks like it has better power delivery. Not that an average OCed G3258 takes lots of power, but it's a point for that MB. So take the Asus one.

PCIe X1 uses ?

If you don't need it you can leave it.

Common uses are Wireless NIC, USB 3.0 headers, SATA/eSATA cards, sound cards, internal capture cards...

This board doesn't supports front USB 3.0 headers . Any idea to get USB 3.0 easily accessible other than hubs ?

what's 8 chip and 16 chip rams ? which ram will be supported ?

i ordered from ebay ,got 8 chips ram

That's the amount of memory chips of the stick.

8 chips means that it's a single side stick, or 4 chip per side stick (actually in some 2 GB DDR3 Sticks). 16 Chips means that's double sided.

As long as:

1- They're DDR3 DIMMs

2- Unregistered/No ECC

You'd be fine. If you want us to chech that they're compatible you can post the ebay link
