As stated in the title, i am going to make an new pc.

I just have some questions for you guys.

Here are the specs:

CPU: i5-4690K.

Motherboard: Asus MAXIMUS VII HERO.

RAM: 8GB Corsair Vengeance.

Storage: Crucial 256GB and 1TB WD Blue.

GPU: Still not sure if i should go with the R9 290 or with the GTX 960 4GB.

Case: Corsair 780T.

PSU: SeaSonic G 550W 80+ Gold.

Monitor: I am also still unsure if i should go with the Asus VN289H or if i should go with an TV, Samsung UE32H5303AW.

I am mainly going to use it for gaming, and also a bit for work, like autocad. Which is an program that is used to make blueprints of houses, factory's and everything in between.

What do you guys think? Should i go with the GTX or with the R9?

Also, what do you lose when going for an TV instead of an monitor?

GD.

Use a cheaper motherboard and get a better graphic card like the r9 390.

get yourself a 600W PSU....they are pretty much the same price as a 550W.

I had chosen the 550W because with my first specs i would only get 322W. Now with an 390 i am heading toward 500 so i indeed am going to choose an better PSU.

i like corsair psu's, but i hear the evga and antec are good too.

That just about answers my questions about which gpu.

But what about the tv vs monitor? Are there benefits as to why i should pick one. And how about in the future when i go for another screen, would i be forced to take an monitor (if i at first had chosen the tv) or could i go with another tv?
