Hi all,

Currently I have an iiyama ProLite B2480HS and a ProLite T2451MTS. Both are 24" 1920x1080 and 60Hz refresh Rate. I'm looking to replace the T2451 as it is the oldest and has poor image quality (in my opinion).

This is where you guys come in - I need help with choosing a new monitor as I know (almost) nothing about them. Here are some preferences:

  • 27", but if not 24" is ok.
  • 144hz, but if not 60 is ok.
  • Adjustable Height
  • Any resolution
  • Preferably a thinish bezel, but it's not too important to me.
  • A price of £200 or under (United Kingdom).

I will be using this as my main monitor, and switching my current one over to a secondary monitor. It will be used primarily for gaming, but also for work. I know nothing of G-sync or FreeSync, but I'm assuming it's expensive to get a monitor with one or the other.

Thank you in advance for your help. Feel free to ask more questions and I'll answer them if it will help you help me get the best monitor for my budget.

Kind Regards,

Daanish

You cant use freesync, and Gsync Monitors will set you back like £700.

Personally I'd look at something like the Asus VN247H if you dont need bells and whistles, or the VE248QE if you want the higher refresh.
