MSI afterburner.

You should get around +250 on the core. +150 on the memory. (You could get more, depending on your card)

I usually use Unigine Valley benchmark to test if it is stable. Then play a AAA game.

Go up on both (separately, so you can tell which is crashing your game) until you hit 80c or crash.

i've never done any overclocking on any pc. do you recommend me doing overclocking both my gpu and cpu if im only using this for gaming and maybe some office stuff...?

Your CPU will have enough power for both. It does not matter if you overclock or not. But you did buy that water cooler.

Your GPU would benefit from an over clock. Even 100MHz.

If you want to play it safe do +150 on the core and +100 on the memory of your GPU and leave everything else alone.

In the benchmark, your display will just turn off, and then the GPU will recover and the benchmark would be closed.

If you really want to push it to the edge, start at 200MHz core and increase 5MHz until crash.

For memory start at 140 and go up 5 until it crashes.
