So I decided to reinatall my windows, it's been a long time. I created a bootable USB and installed Windows 7 x64 Ultimate SP1.

Everything went fine. After booting up, I downloaded the newest ethernet drivers from the motherboards website. I tried to install the driver, but it said: "The realtek controller was not found. If deep sleep mode is enabled please plug the cable." Then I tried older versions but the same thing happenes. When I tried to install other drivers, such as USB, chipset, audio etc it just says: "This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software."

I tried reinstalling windows and manually installing drivers through device manager but it just wont work. Any ideas, i got a feeling im missing something here.

Note that these drivers worked on previous installations of windows on this machine.
