I just got a new laptop that has a back-lit keyboard and i was wondering if there is a 3rd party program that will allow me to have different modes like reactive lighting or something like that. please help? :D

Most likely, your laptop keyboard doesn't support it unless it was made for that..

I know there was a program to make Alienware keyboards flash and change color with the music that you were playing on it, but I don't think that it was supported by other types of laptops.

I think it was called "winamp" or something like that.. It was released a couple years ago so I don't know if its entirely up to date..

If there was such a program, it would probably depend on your laptop manufacturer and model. So you should give us some more information and I'm sure someone can help you out.
