Any help with planning this out?

Mpeterson96

Hey guys I have the rose-will Thor V2 (link: http://rosewill.com/products/1798/Pr...l_Overview.htm )

and I am going to outfit it with fans. I was wondering if you guys could help me figure it all out, connectors wise and such.

so for the side panel I am going to put 4 120MM fans (maybe these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835553009 )

for the front 230mm Im going to use this (Probably: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835345036 )

then in the 5.25 cages in the front im using one of these ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817996019 )

and replacing the fan (I dont want orange bladed white LED fan in the front og my red and black themed case (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817996019 )

on the top I am using 2 of these ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835146021 )

and on the rear I am using one of these ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835181028 )

and I would like to put a fan in the bottom. how much gain would I get from that?

the case come stock with a fan controller. 2 knobs each one having 3 3 pin connectors. no Idea on the wattage.

so how should I wire all of this? I was thinking one of these ( http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811992007 )

how many fans can I use on one channel?

if you want that many fans it looks good but you dont need fans on the cage and the case should come with fans also not all fans like to be on a fan controller check your motherboard then i would say you connect then to your PSU with a adapter

I want to be able to vary the speed. because having them all at max all the time would be too loud

I would connect most of those to the PSU off of the 5v or find resistors but with that many fans a controller might be the best option. Connecting all those fans to the mobo is certainly out of the question. Make sure all those fans can start up smoothly at low volts and don't click when undervolted. A bottom fan might be a better choice over the drive bay fan, but neither will really make much of a difference.
