Hey guys I really like how the LG ultrawide monitors look. I was wondering. I know they have a FreeSync version, but do they have a G-Sync version? I've been watching the ultrawide news like a hawk, but one cant know it all. I really like how ultrawide looks and want to join the club, but I'm not sure if I should buy now or wait maybe six more months for something better down the line. Also would like to just chat it up with ultrawide's in general give me your thoughts ^.^

Their are no LG Gsync monitors.

However i'm pretty sure Acer has one. (Ultra Wide, IPS)

As of right now no there isn't any ultra wide IPS gsync monitors, however there are a range of new g sync monitors coming out soon(ish)!

Acer Z35 (1080p Ultra wide), Acer X34 & Asus PG34Q (1440p Ultra Wide) so if you want to wait for them you could, no word on pricing or release yet though

Personally I'm not going to wait because the price will be a bit too high for my blood, instead I'm saving up to buy this beauty from LG: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-125-LG

It's an ultra wise AH-IPS 1440p, just no G sync aha

Yeah I know about the ASUS and Acer ultrawides coming out. They look great but for some reason the LG ultrawides look I'm not sure how to describe it, they just look more colorful or have a POP. They are all IPS so I don't understand why the LG ultrawide's look better to me.

Whats the difference between the 34UC87C , 34UC87M-B and 34UC97-S

The 34UC87-P is the one I'm getting (Just because it's the one available) the 34UC87C (Non P) is essentially the same, but an older model, it doesn't have the x2 thunderbolt connectors the one I'm getting does which I don't really need anyway.

The 34UC87M-B is the same, but marketed for people in the trading and analyst sector, it isn't something for the consumer sector although I'm pretty sure the actual panel and everything is the same.

The 34UC97-S is the same as the 34UC87-P Panel wise and connection wise, it's just a different stand, it's the same price in most places, but doesn't have high adjust or anything, but it has a more designer style stand.

After watching some of the Acer X34 videos again, it does looks very nice and has that POP and colorfulness that I was talking about earlier. You can see it here about eight seconds in.

Yeah it'll 100% be nice, 1440p ultra wide, 34", IPS and 75Hz possibly

I just don't like that logo on the front >.< So I'd rather get the Asus PG34Q which is pretty much the same thing but I'm expecting these two monitors to be around £1000 which is a little too much for me, even the £799 is tbh but really want a curved ultra wide 34" 1440p aha

Yeah both the Acer and ASUS have that super beefy style. That's why I really like how the LG ones are, very low profile and sleek.

I really like the look of the ASUS LX341 it's like art although no clue on a release date for that (And again no g sync), it would match my current MX Series Asus monitor perfectly though
