Hello, I currently have a Radeon 7950, and I want to upgrade. I am planning to get a 4k monitor also. So i need help deciding either to purchase another 7950, or get something else. I'd like to buy used. Reccomend something that can play games at medium or more settings at 4k. Thanks

Gaming at 4K is an issue, and anything below GTX 980 would be bad in my opinion. Also, even a 980 has 4GBs of VRAM and you'd want at least 6GBs. Buying 2nd radeon is pointless since the VRAM with Crossfire or SLI does not stack. I'm not mentioning 980Ti or recent AMD GPUs since you can't buy those as used, they just came out.
If you have enough money, getting an AMD Radeon R9 295x2 would be great for your needs (4k gaming.

also a second 7950 would probable bottleneck your system since crossfire doesn't dubble vram a r9 390x or 980 would also work but there cheaper and most of the time will run things at 4k fine at medium

You would think Ubisoft would support the Bulldozer based architectures more given their digging themed names like bulldozer, Piledriver, Steamroller and Excavator.

@Arcanekitten , did you even read what he said? He'd like to buy a used card and you recommend a R9 390x or a Fury X? Don't you think it'd be quite a challenge to find these used since they just came out? R9 295x2 is one of the best cards when it comes to gaming at high resolutions, isn't it? I mean technically it is a crossfire but it works very good when compared to other cards in games when it comes to the amount of FPS.
