Audio Editing software

Sup guys, I sometimes want to play with audio and edit popular songs just to play with things and to see how fucked up a song can sound, are there any easy to pick up audio editing programs, because I'm using 
Vegas pro and I don't see many useful or interesting audio effects on there

Most audio editing software is meant for producing music, not fucking it up. If you want to fuck it up Vegas is probably your best bet, I'm sure they have some "interesting" effects that you wont find in a serious DAW.

I like FL Studio, but the whole package costs $1000 so Audacity is a good option. 

What about Reaper? $60.

Mixcraft would be a good one that I use, it has a few price points so look at what you need. I would say for any paid program use the demo and see what you like the best.
