Help pc wont boot

Hey,

so iv fully disassembled my gaming PC that i built about 2 years ago.I wanted to move to ITX size so bought a motherboard that supports all my stuff and a Bitfenix P case all was good. Everything fit in the case (just about) and everything seemed fine.I go to turn it on and nothing ... No lights no fans, nothing. So i first check the switch on the back of the PSU was in the correct position and it was so i try again.Nothing.So i then thought that i might have plugged the front pannal power switch in the wrong motherboard pin , i checked and tryed again.nothing.I then tryed using the side pannal from an old fractal case and plugged that in and still nothing.Iv had probolems in the past with a dead PSU and had bought a Corrsair 750watt about 6 months ago so i realy dont think thats the probolem.

 

any suggestions of thing for my to try please post below ill reply as soon as i try it thanks

Maybe the new motherboard is DOA ? 

 

Since it's the only component you've changed it could be the problem.

plug everything back into your old motherboard and check.

i would but my old motherboard is now in a drffent pc that i cant take apart at this point in time :L 

 

right i need to test the psu ill grab an old pc fan and plug into a molex cable and if the fan powers up then i know psu if fine

Does your PSU start? (Yes/No)

if yes apply all you must have connections your 4x4 pin cpu and 20x4 pin Motherboard and the sata for 1 of your drives (note if they are already connected disconnect them and reconnect them making sure everything lines up properly

make sure your ram is fully seated try rebooting.

if no disconnect your psu and google how to jump my psu with a paperclip and follow the steps

if it turns on then follow the yes steps

oh boy this is embarrasing , how can i say this  ?

a bit of polystiarine from the case i order had fallen into 1 of the 4 pin power holes no lie you cant make that up thanks for your supprt any ways much appreciated <3

 

also dont forget #firepole to get a fire pole in Linus's new office
