GPU Bios flash

So for starters, I have 2 290x Vapor x 8Gb. Decent cards, but pretty soon they wont be my main cards so i wanna try some stuff on em.

 

Since they have 8 Gb of vram, I'm thinking of taking a slight leap and hoping a 390x bios would work on em.

 

Now i don't know a whole lot about bios flashing, so I'm coming here first. Am i retarded for thinking of this? and can it work?

 

 if this isnt possible, ill either sell em or mine em to death.

the 390x is not a simple rebrand, i dont think its like previously where you can flash a bios onto it to make it the same.
