I really don't get it, why are so many h100i's just dying, is it the software?

I turned my pc on just like every other day, again the LED would not fire up on the block, so im like, uhg...restart

Anyway during the restart, the fans just were going full ball. I get into windows, launch Corsair link and its not recognizing the h100i.

So i did a google, then uninstalled link and re-installed it. Again it could not see the cooler, after extensive research and encountering many with the same problems, i changed USB headers on the motherboard.

Still cannot see the h100i, i tried one more re-install of the software, still with no results, stumbled across the h100i firmware update but i cannot install it as it wont recognize it.

Sent a ticket into corsair, no reply after a week.

Don't know what to do from here?

I want a casual meeting with an Elephant, Orangutan, Crow and a Bottlenose Dolphin.

Alright the corsair guy got back to me sounds a little dangerous but maybe it will work.

Alright, lets try to hot plug it. While the system is running, unplug the USB header then plug it back in to a different USB header. Make sure no other USB devices connected to any of the header including the front I/O USB connectors.. lets see if that will jump start the sensor.

By no other devices plugged in does that mean rear I/O? or only the the front connectors and the onboard headers?
