Lag when holding shift + "x"

This issue is exclusive to World of Warcraft, probably because it is the only game I have where I use keybinds such as shift + 1. Basically when ever I use an ability ingame by using shift + 1, shift + 2, shift + 3, shift + r I get a huge lag spike.

 

I have a 2500k at 4,4 Ghz and a 670 gtx and the keyboard is a steelseries 6gv2, I have tried running the game on the lowest possible settings and with/without vsync enabled but I still get these awful lagspikes. I also dont have sticky keys enabled and I tried changing the repeat keys settings with no results.
