I have found and interesting used gaming pc but it has only 3x1gb dominator ddr3 ram.

So if i add 1 4gb ddr3 stick will i have then 7gb ram total or will it not work at all?

yes but all the ram will have to have the same speed of ddr3 memory in this case the ram is 1600Mhz so if the ram your adding is at the same speed you should be good. I bought a hyperX fury with 1866Mhz and tried to combine it with my 4gb 1600Mhz but didn't work, I think it is possible with some software that you can turn your faster ram to lower speeds to combine with the 1600Mhs
