Hi not sure if I am posting this in the right section, but I want to build my first gaming computer and I'm not sure if I should get the IPR that comes with components, IF I were to get all of them it would increase my system cost by 300+$. Does anyone know if those IPRS cover damages from overclocking? I live in vancouver and I am planning on getting my parts from NCIX and Memory Express

Oh sorry, they call it instore product replacement, basically extended warranties... Anyone in my area know what these warranties cover? I ask the stores but they never gave a clean answer if it covers overclocking, they start off with some random bs then never answer my question

there is no point getting extended warranty on pc parts, if they fail, they will probably fail in the first few weeks. as for overclocking, they can't tell if its been overclocked so that shouldn't make a difference.
