Bios on new board

Hey,

im thinking about getting an msi 970a sli krait edition motherboard with an fx8350 processor but when using the compatibility test, NZXT says that the bios may need to be updated to accomodate the CPU, can i update the bios with the fx8350 installed or what?

What games you play? I can give you a more clear idea about how it will perform!

 

Also BIOS does not need a update...

 

My MSI 970 Gaming motherboard did not need one at all!

i dont play many games, even if i do they're usually old titles for example guild wars 2, ghosts recon, etc i know it will perform well in these games and i don't need it to perform brilliantly, becuase im not gaming for very long per day, usually im doing menial stuff that doesn't even put my laptop's i3-2328m

Well I think that old games mostly do fine but some what newer old games may be worse if you aim for 144FPS or so then you will be let down.

Not saying it is bad but some MMO games it kinda under-performs next to Intel due to the weaker per-core but if the game run fine on your old i3 then I doubt there is gonna be any major issues unless the game is VERY poorly optimized.
