Gta v -

Go to solution Solved by Rohith_Kumar_Sp,

i got somewhere 27-34 fps while driving and 38-45 fps By standing still and random fps drop to 20fps

so i was right the first time when i said use medium settings ? i said it runs well on the assumption it ran from 45-50 fps based on the 2 comments below

You crazy?

High, FXAA, V-sync off, high textures

(I have an R9 270)

That is right the 270 is a mid end card, but I am also able to run at high settings and get a good 45 - 50 FPS.

Spoiler alert my gpu has only 2gb vram

my bad, i read your system RAM to your card vram, apologies, i see you turned off advance settings, i believe they are the most gpu heavy feature in the game, especially the draw distance and high detail shadow

also, you're just showing us settings and not the FPS numbers on the actual game while playing, how much do you get if i may ask ?

I'll mention my question in this thread just to see if i get any additional opinions..

i5 4590

GTX 970

8GB Ram

I still get frame rate drops despite lowering all settings to high, and setting the vram (thats the term right?) around the 2400's out of 4096 or so.

Also, the game doesn't appear in the Nvidia control panel (i bought the 7 disc version not through steam), might that be the reason?
