If you want it - get it.

It's not a must have or anything.

For the sake of gaming I don't think it will benefit in any meaningful way.

If anything I would actually consider one of those bloody huge passive heatsinks that have no fans

CPU: Intel i7 5820K @ 4.20 GHz | MotherboardMSI X99S SLI PLUS | RAM: Corsair LPX 16GB DDR4 @ 2666MHz | GPU: Sapphire R9 Fury (x2 CrossFire)
Storage: Samsung 950Pro 512GB // OCZ Vector150 240GB // Seagate 1TB | PSU: Seasonic 1050 Snow Silent | Case: NZXT H440 | Cooling: Nepton 240M
FireStrike // Extreme // Ultra // 8K // 16K

If you want to overclock a little, or none use the 212, DO NOT USE IT PASSIVE, your CPU will run to hot. If you really want to overclock, then go grab a H100i, or H105

My Rig:  CPU: Core i7 4790K @4.8ghz  Motherboard: Asus Maximus Vii Hero  Ram: 4x4GB Corsair Vengeance Pro 2400mhz (Red)  Cooling: Corsair H105, 2x Corsair SP120 High Preformance Editions, Corsair AF 140 Quiet Edition  PSU: Corsair RM 850  GPU: EVGA GTX 980 SC ACX 2.0  Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 120GB, WD Blue 1TB  Case Corsair 760t (Black)  Keyboard: Razer Blackwidow Chroma  Mouse: Razer Deathadder Chroma  Headset: ATH-M50X Mic: Blue Yeti Blackout

High end air or AIO is going to be enough cooling you will ever need really. You can shave off a few more degrees with a custom loop but you are talking about adding in hundreds more to the system with virtually no potential for and kind of extra performance. Just looks really.

Yes it's the replace meant to the H100i. If you have room for it the H110i GTX is even better.
