i had a 450W UPS with a 550W pc, so the only thing affected is up time, wich is most likely 2x of what the UPS box says in your case

A 1200VA UPS is enough for 750W psu . is not it ?

 

It's not about the VA only you need to check what the wattage rating on that unit is also, not to mention it doesn't need to be a larger wattage than your PSU just larger than the total power consumption at max load.

 

 

What unit are you looking at currently?
