Hi,

So I have been getting a decent amount of bsod's recently. They all share the same bug check string IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. I have attached more details on these bsod's below, please help!

Many Thanks in Advance!

OS: Windows 7 64-bit (the original system, purchased the OEM version from newegg and installed it)

System Age: 1 year and a half-ish

No reinstalls for my OS

CPU: i7 4820k 3.7Ghz with no overclocking

GPU: two GTX 780ti with no overclocking

MoBo: Evga x79 dark

RAM: GSkill Ripjaws Z 16GB (4x4GB) with no XMP

PSU: EVGA 1300w

Harddrives: Two Samsung evo 840 500GB SSD's in RAID0

Manufacturer: Self-built

Desktop

UPDATE: it should be noted that there was a fifth bsod, whose record I forgot to save. It took place between BlueScreen3 and BlueScreen4, had the same bug check string and was caused by the same driver as the 3rd and the 4th one (namely ntoskrnl.exe)

BlueScreen1.txt

Bluescreen2.txt

BlueScreen3.txt

Don't forget to follow your posts so you get notifications when someone replies to your post.

First off we need more details to truly help you out, IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL is are rather broad Blue Screen error as I am sure you see from looking at those logs, having that they are all a different erro (one was DX, one was the NT Kernel, etc.

Do you have an overclock? What board? What Windows version? What have you tried to remedy the error?

Motherboard: MSI G45 | CPU: Intel i7 4790K | RAM: 16GB G.Skill DDR3 | SSD: 2x Samsung 840 Evo 256GB | Graphics: EVGA GTX 1080 FTW | PSU: Corsair HX650W | Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo | Fans: 6x Corsair SP120's | Case: NZXT H440 Razer Edition | OS: Windows 10

OP, make sure all your drivers are up to date. even your wifi drivers. every driver.

and turn off your overclocks or tone them down.

don't unplug critical parts of the machine while in use.

most likely your drivers though. im going to guess WAN drivers.

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.

Is your graphics card getting hot? dxgmms1.sys errors can be cause by heat.

What are you doing when they happen? Can you repeatedly replicate them?

I have not been able to replicate the dxgmms1.sys error. I think I just quit from a game and was watching youtube when the error took place.
