Hey everyone!

The issue is described in title. My HP motherboard does not recognize that my WD Caviar Blue Drive has windows 7 on it and should be the boot drive.

I've tried fiddling around in the BIOS with safe boot settings, but nothing seems to work.

Any advice? Every time I install Windows I seem to somehow screw it up. [emoji14]

What about sata configuration.

Did you try both Ide and ahci mode.

I'm assuming you have the hard drive selected as first boot device

It is possible it's a hdd compatibility issue but not likely

Also make sure the sata cord is plugged into sata port 0 on the main board
