The chances of it not working are very, very low. Just follow the instructions, don't force anything, and don't get frustrated if something doesn't work immediately.  The part list is good but if you want FPS, the SSD should be removed in favor of a better graphics card.

Hi there @Rob200088 and welcome to LinusTechTips forum!

All the parts look compatible to me and I agree with the others that the build should work fine. I don't know for what are you planning to use the rig for, but if it's for gaming you may consider what Infernal Burrito suggested and look for a stronger GPU, and if you swap the video card you can look for a slightly more powerful PSU as well just to have few additional wattages aside in case you want to make any future upgrade on the machine (something like 500-550W will be enough, golden certified for additional efficiency).

Hope this helps.

Cheers! :)

I am going to use the pc for light gaming, like beam ng drive on low settings and spintires. I wil never run someting on 4k or somthing like that. I dont even have a screen that can handle it. And i want the ssd for quick booth speeds. And it is also easy to upgrade later on. My current pc is a samsung ativ one 5 style. It can run minecraft barrely, crashes after 15 min. with beam ng and spintires works fairly good to my surprise.

Yea, my parents were really skeptical as well. For some reason lots of parents think that even though their kid is taking Precalc they can't put a few PC pieces together.

It'll work fine. I don't know what your Dad is talking about...

Just tell your parents my son built a PC last year, he is now 5yrs old and the only thing I had to help him with was the thermal paste.

This PC will run it way better than low if it is decently optimized.
