Corsair cx600m enough for a GTX 960 and amx fx6350?

XXCaptainUnicorn

Helping a friend with an upgrade. He has a cx600m with a 6350 and r9 270x. He wants to upgrade to a gtx 960 (gigabyte, asus, or evga). Will the PSU be able to handle this? The 960 uses 6 + 8 pin connector right?

thanks

go for a 280 or a 280x omg.... cheaper and better preformance

the psu will work for both 280x and 960

Only the 280 is cheaper. And it performs about 10% faster. A 280x from a reputable brand costs about 40$ more than the 960. The 380 however costs about the same and is a bit faster than the 960.

Get a 280X if you don't need Shadowplay or Shield
