Again, why is it not an option to simply ask her to explain her reasoning? She called you selfish. She has to back up that claim with reason and evidence. Why do we need to assume her motives?

Human interaction is only so complicated because people made it that way. If everybody just gave it to each other straight, we'd know where we stand with everybody.

Then ignore her. That's not a mature way of handling things.

Yeah about that - unfortunately I'm not one to share my personal problems with LTT or just forums in general. 

Typically I am neutral though, so there's not much of a problem.

 

 

Ok, I will share one I had yesterday.

I had a suspicion that there was going to be a pop quiz for Calculus class. And I thought I knew all the material - but I blanked and I dun goofed. It was just a quiz though. It serves as a reminder that thinking you know the material and actually knowing it are two different things, especially with math. You have to get down there and do some problems. So maybe in the grand scheme of things the quiz did more good than harm.

i always do that on math, but i never learn. Eventually I get straight A anyways

It gets harder to do as you move up the math food chain.

 

My professor is a baws at math. Crunches math in his head faster than I can copy the answers. PHD of something, not quite sure what. This is a summer class, so the pace is doubled. Also means half the fuel costs.

well good luck then. I shall spend my summer in front of my computer making continuously opening and closing youtube to see if an interesting video comes up
