So I just got a new mousepad and I'm really hyped because of it, but my mouse ( A standard mouse )'s tracking is not really keeping up with it. The mousepad is the Corsair MM600, I switched from cloth mousepad to hard mousepad because this is the only one big enough for gaming that they had. I've been planning on getting a new mouse and I'm waiting for the new Razer Mamba but there's the Corsair M95 mouse available in my country for less price and the mousepad site says " Designed for the laser sensors like the one's in corsair mice" so that's the dilema. I usually play CS:GO but most of the time I play Minecraft ( Don't call me a nerd pls :( ) And I want to know if its worth it still to go for the razer mouse or will the corsair have better performace. Also take in count the price is a huge factor here because the razer mouse will be around TWICE the price of the Corsair mouse

Welcome to the forum , don't forget to follow your posts so we don't have to poke you to get a notification ! ( follow button is towards the top right )

I'm not calling you a nerd for minecraft , i would call you a kid tho .

Joke aside , i wouldn't buy a Corsair mouse again for 3 of reasons

1. My m65 came with a broken weight change cap

2. Software for the mouse looks like it has been done by a 17 year old IT student . Macros and button function change are clunky .

3. Issues with mouse tracking if plugged in a front usb 3 port that has been converted to a usb 2 header inside the PC case ( that one took me days to figure out )

Why stick with Razer ? Check out Logitech mice .

I really like the G502 and its cheaper than razer and good . And it's optical and the lack of inherent acceleration ( only if you have it disabled in game and in widows ) that laser mice have will help with muscle memory .

Or maybe the Func mouse , it's really comfortable .

If you are going to get a mouse then you will want to get one with an optical sensor. If you are going to get a mouse from Corsair then i suggest that you get the m40, as it uses a flawless sensor. Since you play CS:GO, having no acceleration will benefit you. Another mouse that you can check out is the Logitech G502, which utilizes the best sensor on the market. Here is a spreadsheet of mice with flawless sensors: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ZzbKDmFOqsP_ut2RdctD01OEbZzbXol6HLwqVkSmZcg/edit?pli=1#gid=0. pretty much any mouse on this list will be a good choice as long as it is comfortable.

I haven't had any experience with Corsair mice, to me the shape just doesn't appeal. I did however have a Razer Deathadder 2013  that I found very comfortable and was a great mouse... while it worked, unfortunately the middle click died after 20 months of owning the mouse, it was still in warranty and between speaking to Razer and Amazon I got a full refund for the mouse.

Since then I have tried the Mionix Naos 7000, which I had no issues with the mouse itself, apart from it's shape, which just didn't feel right to me. Now though I am using the Logitech G502 and this mouse just feels amazing, tracks well, and I don't know how I ever lived without the flywheel!
