Greetings,

Id like to ask you for help, im looking for a laptop for coding (big compilations - even my 5960x clocked to 4.2 ghz takes its time to compile - ~2 mins). My budget is 2k€ top it should have atleast a 250 GB ssd and 4 cores at 2.5ghz. At first i wanted to choose one of the MSI laptops, but i heard they overheat like hell which would be an issue when having cpu at 100% while compiling. Also it would be cool that i would be able to run games on it, no integrated GPU. And the last thing is, it must be available at amazon.fr :)

Thanks in advance.

The XMG P505 is based on the Clevo P651Sx series of barebones from Clevo. They feature 3 cooling fans, 2 for the GPU and the last for the CPU, 4 RAM slots for a maximum of 32GB of RAM, a 965M (P651SA), 970M (P651SE) or 980M (P651SG) GPUs. They weigh about 2.5 kg and is either 25mm (P651SA and P651SE) or 28.8mm (P651SG) thick.

I personally have one of these, and they are great machines. I carry it to school everyday and it is not the slimmest and lightest around, but slim and light enough for you to carry around.
