Inconistent whine?

 Okay, so I've been noticing this for 2 days now. The GPU will occasionally whine for a few seconds and stop afterwards. It happens regardless of load or temps. Any ideas to why this might be? Is it something to worry about or is it completely normal? The whine is fairly quiet.

True but why is it so inconsistent and happens more when the GPU is not under load?

Lube it up. could be just a dry-ish bearing

its probably louder when not under load because the frequency of the vibration is lower, when it's under load it probably vibrates at an almost inaudible tone.

Probably, also I probably can now hear it since I did remove 2 of the expansion slot covers to improve the goddamn airflow. Arrgh, there is no end, is there ._.

As for fans, they seem to be in good condition (4 months of use only)

EDIT: question, what are the VDDC and MVDDC values in GPU-Z? I know the 12V should be as close to 12 as possible (mine being at 12.2) but there rest I don't exactly understand,

Okay so I opened up the case, disconnected and reconnected the GPU power cables and stressed with Aida64 for about 25 mins. It's failry early to tell but aside from the fact that at the end of the test the fans were very audible, the whine seems to have vanished which brings up the question "What the actual fuck?"  I did do the stress test with the expansion slot covers back in and the inside was warming up quite a bit, I noticed the PSU casing was quite warm and the exhaust grill was also warm as well (PSU still) so I went back and removed the expansion slot covers once again seeing as that sort of fixed my airflow issues before. (I need to start trusting myself more, I could have saved about 2 hours of time had I not listened to people telling me to not remove those covers and instead changing fan positions and directions). Atm, everything seems to be working fine, the only noise not fan noise is a slight buzz from the PSU (I's been there all along so i'd imagine that's pretty normal as I can only hear it with my ear flat against the exhaust) and yeah, that's about that.
