Overclocking monitors

I have a Dell u2913wm 21:9 monitor, i got it to 85hz from 60

 

i don't really know how this overclocking thing works, if the nvidia test is successful

 

am i good to  go? or is there a risk and i am better reducing the refresh rate.

But will it function? So far PR won't launch at 85 hz, i'm just wondering if this can cause any damage to my monitor, or have stability issues.

I've ran my monitor at 75Hz (the max I could get) for over a year and no problems, now for some weird driver reason I can't do 75Hz anymore .

Also, not all games will recognize the new refresh rate of the monitor, some games will turn it back to 60Hz.

If you pass, gratz.

If not, your overclock is meaningless. And you should test a lower refresh.
