using ssd as cache for mechanical hhd

Well all said n done! The question still remains! How do i do it? I have a primary ssd for os but in addition to that i have another 120 gb ssd in my build along with other mechanical drives.... i know u could do it via intel srt but i cant seem to find any download link anywhere.. are there any other softwares that allow u to use ssds as a cache for mechanical drives?

there are some alternatives, not sure which..

I use Intel SRT currently. but you need the following requirements for Intel SRT:

- a motherboard that supports intel srt
- a secondary storage volume to "accelerate with cache"
- an SSD to use for caching, intel srt supports maximum 60GB for caching, any more was a waste according to them.

you can set it in the RAIDcontroller which you'll have to enable in the BIOS or via the their software which you can get off the website, look for "Intel Rapid Storage Technology".
