$300-400 Gaming Build

I have a friend who wants to make the switch to pc gaming, but he's on a tight budget. He plays mostly source engine games, along with some more demanding titles like saints row. He needs the works: speakers, OS, monitor, and main components. I personally have some spare parts that I can sell him at a discount, so that makes this rig a bit easier to assemble.

 

Parts I can throw in:

F2A85-M/CSM-$75

A10-5800K-$65

1440x900p Monitor $35

R9 280x Dual X- $175

8GB 1600 DDR3 Kingston RAM- $40

Old speakers- $1

Any recommendations?

buy win8.1 from reddit.com/r/microsoftsoftwareswap or g2a.com and get like a 600w or so PSU and a case and you'll be golden.

for a buget build, a amd cpu is a good idea, but i can't tell you which one are good or bad, also with mobos, but it looks good especially the gpu
