Anyone else extremely disappointed everytime SWTOR comes out with a new trailer for a starwars expansion that totally should be a game on its own?

 

The trailer cinematic was the most excited I've ever been for a Star Wars game since the original SWTOR trailers which were amazing...

 

But then I find out it is just an expansion for SWTOR.... I spent two years on that game... I was a top 2.0-3.0 Nightmare Raider, but that game.... I couldn't take it anymore.

 

WHY WON'T YOU JUST MAKE THESE AMAZING IDEAS STAND ALONE GAMES?????

Because even semi-successful MMOs bring in more money over time than a standard game would.

 

But hey, don't mind me... I'm just sat here waiting for KotOR 3.

Yea I know that MMO's do. I, after all, was for about a year part of the top .1% of that game's community. Just man... MMO's are such objectively bad games as a genre... And Battlefront isn't going to be anything uniquely story driven.

 

BTW the Revan subplot for the last swtor expansion was dog shit. And to be honest the game didn't even look good in 2012, yet the graphical demands have increased without much improvement in the actual fidelity.
