Minimum VRA Needed by displayes

I know this has been asked but this is different! While i know i'm not going to be able to get some magic perfect equation answer.. what is the minimum acceptable VRAM needed for various resolution? While i know graphics card processing abilities also dictate abilities, but i'm just looking at vram needed to work well.

There are no real rules for it to be honest. It really depends on what you need, which is hard to determine.

For 1080p, try to go 3GB+ (2GB if you really cant go 2GB). For 1440p, I would say 3-4GB+ while for 4K I would say 4GB+.

For Ultrawide (2560x1080) I would say 3GB+ and for Ultrawide (3440x1440) I would probably say 3.5GB+. For multiple displays.. 4GB+ But that is highly dependent on what GPU chip you have

But than again, it depends on what game and what GPU you have.

I understand that the GPU effects (or affects not sure) it GREATLY but im looking to find if i have Xpixels by YPixels.. what  amount of vram will i need to make it work if the rest of the GPU is not  bottle necking it?
