I want to upgrade my current media pc. my shuttle XS35V3 is not exactly up to standard any more.

I kinda want a NUC but i am having a hard time finding one that suits my requirements.

What i want:

Small formfactor (very much like NUC)

Passive cooling (An absolute must, complete silence)

room for an ssd

gigabit lan

HDMI out

all current I3 CPU's and up should do just fine. HD playback and probably internet based television sometime in the future.

Can anyone help?

I can find lots of barebones that would Work just fine, but every time with a cooling fan

Ps. could not find a more suitable place for this, not exactly a build log as of now.....

Edit

allmost forgot, HDMI out of course.........

Do you have a budget? I found some passively cooled i3 ones that have space for an ssd, but are pretty expensive.

Well I found a UK based passive NUC seller, its slightly more expensive than the other one but less than the $800 you would have to spend.

There are some pretty good options, found a couple new sites aswell with more fanless systems. But it seems still to be a bit premature. Either i have to wait a while longer, or get a NUC with fan, and mod it if it is too noisy.

I had hoped to use both ram and ssd from my current setup, but it seems ddr3L is used in pretty much all micro factor systems.

thank you for your help
