help for p67 motherboard Sapphire bios update

Hi

I was trying to update the bios on a p67 Sapphire Pure Black Hydra motherboard, and when I downloaded the update package from Sapphire's website, these items were inside

(If the picture does not work just let me know)

 

I have no idea what to do with these files. if anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

First question: Do you NEED a BIOS update?

That is a very ancient MOBO. Is there even a BIOS update?

If you are using windows 8 you wanna download it from this web address off sapphire's website.

 

http://asia.dl.sapphiretech.com/archive/gm/drivers/Flash_635277131065888569.zip

 

Then extract the zip file and run the flash.exe

 

This bios is from february of 2014, so make sure you actually need it.

 

Alternately, a much safer way would be to copy the bios file, SIP67065.ME to a flash drive and go into the bios and run the update utility from in there if your motherboard has one.
