Depends on what you define as "best". I think the Gigabyte G1 Gaming is one of the highest clock speed ones which has great cooling.

So i was on amazon , newegg etc and was looking at all the different types of 970's. I was just wondering what is the best one out of all of them ?

I am with the G1 version and it rocks. I'd recomend it.

It will work brilliantly. I'm running the locked 4690.

My G1 can do 1565Mhz in most games but not completely stable, 1506Mhz is 99% stable but has artifacts on Witcher3, 1450Mhz is stable across ALL my games.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

if the 4460 is the same price and usually is that would like 3-5% better, but both are good, but go for the cheaper of the two
