I have an old drive that I would like to make use of as an external storage drive for backups amongst other things. I've been doing some searching but can't seem to find a nice/reputable and low cost solution to convert the drive to something hassle free.

I've found ones but often they are for 2.5 inch laptop drives and most others look like they'll break in a few minutes.

I can probably manage without a case might even make my own if I can get a decent adapter.

It's a few years old, 7200RPM seagate drive I don't know much about it don't currently have access to it. I don't mind if it's converted to USB 2.0.

Thanks!
