Printing google maps directions

I went on a laptop to print off some directions on google maps. I clicked the "Print" button and selected my choice which is print including maps and print text only. I printed it out to find that it only printed out the URL at the bottom of the page and not the maps or text, I printed it out a couple of times but it kept doing the same.

 

I then restarted the laptop to see if that would fix the issue and i did a print preview and printed the maps and text fine. 

 

I was just wondering what caused the printing to go like this as I did not know exactly?

no Smatphone/gps in family?

 

um probably just a bug.

Doesn't the print button include an option to decided if you want text only or with maps added?
